Would you like to showcase your program during the next school year?  Many
districts were featured this year.  This is a chance to brag about the good
things you are doing and show your staff how much you apprciate their hard
work.  Districts or schools are featured for approximately  2 weeks.  If you
would like to sign up your district/school for next year Email:
memerson@sad55.org.

Now You're Cooking May 2-3 at Massabesic Middle School
15 employees from MSAD #57 attended where they prepared
a meal.  These 15 employees have taken Healthy Edge,
Sanitation and now this third class and are now eligible to
beocme certified all in one year!
The 1st annual Chili Challenge was held at Massabesic high and middle schools in January of '08.
How it works:   Students have to sign up for the chili challenge the week before or the first day of the chili
challenge.  It goes for one whole week.   We serve a cup of chili every day that week--it gets hotter and
hotter each day--we add jalepeno's and hot sauce every day.
The students get it free with a lunch OR they pay $1.00 to buy it ala carte.
They have to eat it and get checked off each day to win a free T-shirt on Friday.
The T-shirt says:   I survived the Mustang Kicking chili Challenge with a
picture of the Massabesic Mustang on the shirt and hot chili peppers.
We gave away over 200 t-shirts between the two schools.   It was very popular with the students.
